About this product

Pastel Keyboard is a complete custom Android keyboard (InputMethodService) built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. It is light, fast, and 100% offline, with no network permissions and no data collection.

It works correctly in real chat apps like WhatsApp. It detects the field’s IME action and shows the right key (Enter, Send, Search, Go, Next, or Done). Auto capitalization, single-tap Shift, and double-tap Caps Lock work reliably.

You get three pastel themes (including a dark Midnight mode), an emoji keyboard with a recent tray, word suggestions, numbers and symbols layouts, adjustable height, and toggles for sound, haptics, and key popups. A Material 3 companion app helps users enable the keyboard and set it as default. The clean code structure makes it easy to reskin and publish under your own brand. Part of the code was developed with the help of AI.
