Pastel Keyboard App
Cute, offline pastel Android keyboard with smart IME actions, emoji tray, and 3 themes.
This is a complete Android cracked screen prank app built with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose (Material 3), and Clean Architecture. It draws realistic glass fractures procedurally as vectors and combines them with synthesized sound and haptic feedback.
You get four fracture styles (Spiderweb, Bullet Impact, Tempered Glass, and Edge Fissure), with extra cracks appearing on every tap. Sound is generated in memory using AudioTrack, with four presets (Crisp Snap, Bullet Impact, Crystal Break, and Deep Shatter), plus multi-stage vibration that mimics a real impact.
The prank can be triggered instantly, by shaking the phone (with sensor filtering to ignore bumps), after a timer (5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds), or on the first touch. In overlay mode, the cracked screen appears over the home screen and other apps, managed by a foreground service.
Safe exit options are built in: triple-tap, long-press, a notification dismiss action, and an optional auto-dismiss timer. The code is organized into data, domain, and presentation layers, with DataStore settings and unit tests (JUnit 4 and Robolectric), so it is easy to customize and publish under your own brand. This project was developed with the help of AI tools. It is designed for harmless entertainment only.
No. It only draws a visual crack effect on the screen. It is designed purely for harmless pranks with friends and family.
Display over other apps (for overlay mode), foreground service, vibration, and notifications. These are used only for the prank effect and the emergency exit controls.
Yes. The clean architecture makes it easy to add crack styles, change sounds, update the UI, and rename the package and app ID before publishing.
