1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Al Saeed operating as AlSaeedDev ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of alsaeeddev.com, alsaeeddev.com/shop, and any related services, social media, or digital products offered by us. By accessing the website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Services Offered

AlSaeedDev offers the following freelance development services on a project basis:

In addition, we operate an online shop at alsaeeddev.com/shop offering digital products and print-on-demand merchandise. All services and products are subject to availability and mutual agreement. We reserve the right to decline any project or order at our discretion without obligation to provide a reason.

3. Project & Payment Terms

All projects are governed by a written agreement (via email or messaging) that defines the scope of work before commencement. The following terms apply to all engagements:

  • Prices listed on this website (e.g., "starting from $10") are indicative minimums and not binding quotes. Final pricing is agreed upon after reviewing the full project scope.
  • A deposit of 30–50% may be required before work begins, depending on the project size.
  • Final payment is due upon delivery of the completed project.
  • All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Project timelines are estimates only and may vary based on scope complexity and client responsiveness.
  • Scope changes after agreement may result in revised pricing and/or timeline adjustments.
  • Revisions beyond the agreed number will be charged at a separately agreed hourly or fixed rate.

4. Shop, Digital Products & Print-on-Demand

Our WooCommerce-powered shop at alsaeeddev.com/shop sells two categories of products:

4.1 Digital Products

Digital products include but are not limited to UI kits, source code templates, design assets, Jetpack Compose components, and other downloadable files. The following terms apply:

  • All digital product sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or the file has been delivered, as the product cannot be "returned."
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing download or access, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will assist in resolving the issue.
  • Digital products are licensed for personal or commercial use as specified on each product listing. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of purchased files is strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted in the product's license.
  • We do not guarantee that digital products will be compatible with all software versions, environments, or future OS updates beyond what is stated in the product description.
  • Prices are displayed in USD. Currency conversion, taxes, and any applicable duties are the buyer's responsibility.

4.2 Print-on-Demand Products

Print-on-demand (POD) items such as apparel, accessories, and stationery are produced and fulfilled by a third-party print partner upon order placement. The following terms apply:

  • Each POD item is made to order. Production and shipping timelines are estimates provided by the fulfillment partner and are not guaranteed by AlSaeedDev.
  • Because items are custom-produced on demand, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of order placement, before production begins.
  • Refunds or replacements are offered for items that arrive damaged, defective, or significantly different from the product listing. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for sizing issues, change of mind, or buyer's remorse. Please review size guides carefully before purchasing.
  • Shipping costs, delivery timelines, and carrier availability vary by region. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the buyer's sole responsibility.
  • In the event of a lost or undelivered shipment, please contact us after the estimated delivery window has passed. We will work with the fulfillment partner to investigate and, where applicable, arrange a reshipment or refund.

4.3 Order Processing & Payment (Shop)

  • All shop transactions are processed securely through our WooCommerce payment gateway. We do not store payment card details.
  • Order confirmation emails are sent automatically upon successful payment. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order that appears fraudulent, violates these Terms, or cannot be fulfilled, and will issue a full refund in such cases.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, all content on this website including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, code snippets, and design is the proprietary property of AlSaeedDev and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.

With respect to client projects:

  • Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives ownership of the final agreed deliverables.
  • AlSaeedDev retains the right to showcase completed work in a portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
  • Third-party libraries, frameworks, or assets (e.g., Firebase, Flutter SDK, Bootstrap) used in projects remain subject to their own respective licenses.
  • Source code is transferred to the client only when explicitly agreed upon in the project terms.

With respect to shop products:

  • Purchasing a digital product grants you a license to use it as described in the product listing. It does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying design or code to you.
  • Print-on-demand product designs are the intellectual property of AlSaeedDev. You may not reproduce or resell the visual designs featured on our merchandise.

6. User Responsibilities

By using this website or engaging our services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • All information you provide (project details, contact information, shipping address, etc.) is accurate and complete.
  • You have the legal right and authority to enter into a service or purchase agreement with us.
  • You will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • You will not access the site through automated, non-human means such as bots or scripts.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not use this website or our services for any purpose other than their intended use. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Systematically scraping, harvesting, or collecting data from the site without written permission.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases.
  • Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security-related features of the site.
  • Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or any other malicious or harmful code.
  • Using our services to develop a competing product or service without written consent.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of services, cancellation of orders, and, where applicable, legal action.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to external third-party websites, including our Gumroad store, social media profiles, and YouTube channel. Our shop also integrates with third-party payment processors and print fulfillment partners. These links and integrations are provided for functionality and convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or service quality of any external parties. Visiting any third-party link or relying on any third-party service is entirely at your own risk, and we encourage you to review their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AlSaeedDev and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of this website, our services, or products purchased through our shop, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to a specific project or purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that project or order. This website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that digital products will be error-free or meet every specific use case.

10. Modifications & Interruptions

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove any content, product listing, or pricing on this website at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, feature, or portion of the website at our sole discretion. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the website or its services.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in full force and effect while you use the site or engage our services. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice or liability, to deny access to or terminate services for any person at any time, including but not limited to situations involving breach of these Terms, harmful conduct, or violation of applicable law.
