About this project

Kids Coloring Pages (ColorBook) is a Flutter drawing app where children color 26 animal line-art pages from Ant to Zebra. It has a brush and an eraser with adjustable sizes, 14 preset colors plus a full HSV color picker, and a clear-page option with confirmation. Each page keeps its own drawing while you move between pages using arrows or tappable page dots. The app is locked to portrait mode and uses a Material 3 dark theme with a colorful gradient header.

Objectives

Give kids a simple, safe, and fun digital coloring book where they can color animals, erase mistakes without damaging the picture, and switch between pages without losing their work.

Safe erasing: Drawing is on a separate layer, so only the paint is erased
Smooth strokes: Quadratic Bezier curves create smooth lines
Page drawings: Each page keeps its own strokes
Efficient repainting: Only the drawing layer repaints when needed
