Android Native Kotlin Jetpack Compose

Battery Health Checker App for Android

About this project

Battery Health Checker is a modern Android app built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose that shows your battery’s real-time temperature, charge level, voltage, charging status, and health. It listens to Android’s system battery broadcasts, so the values update live. The interface uses glassmorphism cards, an animated circular temperature gauge, and a dark mode-friendly Material 3 design.

Objectives

Phones can overheat or drain unexpectedly, but battery details are hidden in system menus. The goal was a simple app that shows live battery temperature and status clearly at a glance.

  • Battery level percentage and voltage monitoring
  • Charging and discharging status
  • Battery health detection (Good, Cold, Overheat, Dead)
